2 Car Crash Causes Downed Wires, Car Fire

Posted

A two car crash caused a downed power line and a car fire.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the wreck happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 14000 block of Old Hickory Boulevard.

The two car crash caused one of the cars to hit a utility pole. That caused a wire to fall across the vehicle, which started the fire.

Officials said no one was injured.

The wreck caused that area south of Nolensville Pike to be shut down for a while during the early morning hours.

No further information was available.
