Two suspects, one of whom was a wanted fugitive, have been taken into custody in Wilson County after an overnight, cross-county pursuit.

Officials said Tyvarious Turner and another suspect, who has not yet been identified, were involved in a chase that began in DeKalb County, and reportedly stemmed from an armed robbery and domestic violence situation.

Lebanon police starting assisting with the chase on Interstate 40 once it crossed into their jurisdiction around Exit 239.

Investigators said Turner and the other suspect ran, but were taken into custody after a short police pursuit on foot.

Turner had been wanted in connection with a shooting on Greenwood Street on March 31. He's been accused of shooting the victim multiple times and then fleeing before police could arrive.

Turner also allegedly led Lebanon police on a high-speed chase on April 22.

Officers were forced to end the pursuit because it reached dangerous speeds. Turner did crash on Hartsville Pike but authorities could not track him down.
