There’s been a shuffle in the sentencing of two more defendants linked to former Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold.
There have been continuing delays for two of his accomplices: Joe Russell and John Vanderveer.
Vanderveer's sentencing for this week was postponed, much to the anger of the judge, because he scheduled a colonoscopy. He will now be in court Monday.
Russell will be sentenced later in September.
Federal prosecutors have been recommending two to three years served for each.
Arnold has already been serving a 50-month sentence for a public corruption conviction.
