Two people were seriously injured after being hit by a truck near downtown Nashville.
The wreck happened on Lafayette Street near the Greyhound Bus Station located in the 700 block of 5th Avenue South around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Officials said the driver did stop as soon as the crash happened and has been cooperating with police.
Both male victims were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
At this time, it's not clear if the victims were in the cross walk or not when they were hit. Their identities were not released.
The investigation remained ongoing. No charges have been filed.
