Two students were robbed in Murfreesboro after a suspect confronted a woman and then forced her into her apartment.
The incident happened shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday at the Student Quarters Apartments on Hazelwood Street.
Officials with Murfreesboro Police said a woman was walking to her car when a man with a hoody walked up, pulled a gun and demanded cash.
He then forced her back to her apartment, where he went inside and robbed her roommate before leaving the scene.
Police said the two student roommates were not hurt but badly shaken.
Around 9:38 a.m. authorities confirmed a second incident happened in which a suspect approached a victim during an armed robbery.
Officials said the victim was robbed in a similar way as the first incident, but this time, the victim complied then followed the suspect to give officers his location.
The suspect has been taken into custody, but his identity was not released.
