One person died in a crash on Nolensville Pike involving a Tennessee Department of Transportation truck.
The head-on crash happened Thursday afternoon on Nolensville Pike about three blocks south of the intersection with Old Hickory Boulevard.
Officials said a 52-year-old Hong Thai was driving a Nissan Sentra and hit the TDOT truck. Thai died in the crash.
Authorities confirmed two TDOT workers were in the truck. They had minor injuries and were being evaluated at Southern Hills Medical Center.
The cause of the crash had not been released.
Multiple lanes of Nolensville Pike were closed in that area between Shadow Glen Drive and Swiss Avenue as crews worked at the scene.
