2 Wanted For Vehicle Burglaries, Thefts

Police in Columbia said they’re searching for two people wanted for recent vehicle burglaries and thefts.

Authorities said both 50-year-old Malcolm Lee Crowell, Jr. of Hohenwald and 55-year-old Kimberly Janeen Chase of Nashville were being sought.

Crowell and Chase were wanted in multiple vehicle burglaries, including a motor vehicle theft on November 6 at Comfort Inn and Cracker Barrel on Bear Creek Pike.

The suspects fled from officials on foot on November 10 after they were found in a stolen vehicle near Rock Springs Road and Bear Creek Pike.

Police said they were last seen around 7 p.m. on November 10 in the woods around the area of the interstate near Cracker Barrel and Comfort Inn.
