The 2016 SESAC Nashville Music Awards took place on Sunday night, celebrating songwriters and publishers that work in Music City.
The evening was filled with musical performances from Chris Young, Margo Price, and many others.
Dierks Bentley, Billy Currington, Kelsea Ballerini, Jim Lauderdale, Dustin Lynch, Cassadee Pope, and Chris Young were all in attendance.
Josh Hoge, who has written hits for artists like Chris Young, Cassadee Pope, and Kane Brown, was named SESAC's Songwriter of the Year.
Dierks Bentley's "Somewhere On A Beach," written by Jaron Boyer and Michael Tyler, was named SESAC Song of the Year.
Sony ATV / EMI Foray Publishing and Write 2 Be Free Music was honored as Publisher of the Year.
