Three people were rushed to the hospital after a shooting in Springfield.
Eric Miles, Trevell Hyde, and Brian Wilson were all shot around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
All three showed up at NorthCrest Medical Center and were pulled from the vehicle with gunshot wounds.
Two of the men were taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and the third was treated at NorthCrest Medical Center.
Police said the shooting in the 300 block of 18th Avenue East in Springfield was the result of a dispute between two groups.
A shots fired call was reported in the same area just 20 minutes before this incident, which authorities have called an aggravated assault.
The suspects allegedly ambushed the victims, and gunfire appeared to have come from both parties in the dispute.
Several cars were also damaged by gunfire. No arrests have been made.
