The third defendant in the Vanderbilt rape case has gotten his trial date.
In a hearing held Thursday morning, Judge Monte Watkins set the trial date for co-defendant, Brandon Banks, for June 19.
A status hearing has been set for June 16.
Banks was one of four men charged in connection to the 2014 attack on a female student in a campus dorm.
Felony charges against Banks have been pending throughout the two trials against Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey.
Batey was sentenced to 15 years and Vandenburg was sentenced to 17 years in prison. Vandenburg was considered the ringleader, though he didn't commit the sexual acts.
