Two people were arrested after an officer seized four ounces of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
Officials said the officer stopped 26-year-old Ronald D. Walker, of Port Huron, Michigan, on Interstate 40 East for following another vehicle too closely.
A police dog was alerted to a narcotic odor in the rental vehicle Walker was driving, and after a search, four bags of meth were taken from a compartment under the dashboard.
Authorities arrested Walker and his 17-year-old male passenger, from Louisville, Kentucky, and charged them with possessing meth for resale.
Walker was released on a $50,000 bond. Officials said the teen was charged in Juvenile Court.
