Festival goers got the chance to enjoy the 40th annual Uncle Dave Macon Days Music and Arts Festival in Murfreesboro.
The event, which began on Friday and ran through Saturday in Rutherford County, started as an afternoon banjo picking contest in front of the Rutherford County Courthouse.
Now, it has become one of the premier traditional music and dance festivals in the country.
It featured an arts and crafts show, motor-less parade, kids activities, singing, dancing, and more.
The music was scheduled to continue until at least 11 p.m. Saturday. To learn more about the festival, click here.
