The United States Postal Service helped police make a major marijuana bust.
Authorities said post office workers and an investigator with the postal service called the cops on Monday when they got a package that had a strong marijuana odor.
Officers went to the address in the 500 block of Eglin Street where they saw the post office drop off the package on the front porch.
Jeremy Michael Bourque was then seen picking up several pieces of mail that were on top of the package, but he left the package on the porch.
Police made contact with Bourque and discovered two pounds of marijuana inside the home.
He said the package was for his roommate, and it was addressed to his roommate.
Authorities said they found five pounds of marijuana inside the package.
Bourque was charged with a felony drug offense. The investigation remained ongoing.
