Thousands of lottery tickets were stolen during an early morning smash-and-grab burglary at a Davidson County convenience store.
The incident happened early Monday morning at a Murphy Express on Doverside Drive in Madison.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said at least two suspects smashed their way in through the front door. Glass could be seen scattered along the ground.
Some 6,000 lottery tickets were stolen during the burglary.
Neither the description of the suspects, nor possible getaway vehicle was available.
