Police in Cheatham County have asked the public’s help in catching an alleged armed robber.
Officials with Ashland City police said the incident happened Wednesday, around 10 a.m. at El Ray Restaurant located on Main Street.
The victim reported being physically assaulted by a Hispanic male, who was described as being short, having an average weight, and was wearing a black sweatshirt with a black cap.
Police said the suspect left on foot. It’s not known if he got into a vehicle.
The investigation remains ongoing.
