Apartment tenants in Bellevue have been wanting to know what's next for them after storms led to the foundation failing under their home.
Six units at the Post Ridge Apartments have been unlivable after the foundation failed last Thursday, causing the floor to become unstable with cracks in the walls.
A spokesperson for Aimco, the company that owns the apartment, said a service manager sat down with those affected on Sunday, and they've been talking with them since then. They said they'll make sure residents have a place to stay.
They added costs for food and laundry will be reimbursed, and once the foundation has been stabilized, they'll be allowed back in to get their belongings.
To help pay for some of their expenses, Aimco said they're waiving the rent for September.
