Police captured a suspected carjacker in an unusual way.
The carjacking happened just before 2 a.m. Sunday on Albion Street.
The carjacker got into the victim's car, robbed him at gunpoint, and then took the car.
Later, as a police officer was taking the victim home, he spotted the stolen car.
The officer followed the car until it pulled over and the driver got out.
Officers chased the suspect on foot and finally caught him near the J.C. Napier Homes.
