Armed Suspect Hits Multiple Hotels

Posted

A suspect was being sought after multiple robberies from Brentwood hotels.

The incident began around 3:05 a.m. Saturday when officers responded to the Hilton Suites Hotel in the 9000 block of Overlook Boulevard.

There they discovered the desk clerk had been robbed at gunpoint, and an undetermined amount of cash was taken.

At that scene, officers were then notified of a second call at the Hilton Garden Inn in the 200 block of Centerview Drive.

At that location, the desk clerk said he had stepped away. When he came back, he found the cash drawer had been forced open. An undetermined amount of cash was also taken from that hotel.

After viewing video from the hotel, officials said the suspect matched with the one from the Hilton Suites Hotel.

An attempted robbery then took place around 3:35 a.m. at the Candlewood Suites in the 5100 block of Virginia Way.

There, a suspect with a handgun went into the lobby, but fled after not being able to gain access to the clerk or the cash drawer.

Police said they’re searching for a black male suspect, standing around 5’10” tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing glasses, a green jacket, dark pants, and gloves.

Reports stated the suspect was armed with a black handgun and wore a yellow mask over his face.

His vehicle was believed to be an older model dark-colored Jeep Cherokee driven by a second unknown suspect.

Anyone with information has been asked to call the Brentwood Police Department at 615-371-0160.
