A 22-year-old has been arrested in a fatal shooting in 2016.
Authorities confirmed they arrested 22-year-old Javaris Wilson in the fatal shooting of 67-year-old Samuel Huff.
The shooting happened in the 1500 block of 9th Avenue North in the Cheatham Place public housing development in September 2016.
Officials said Wilson has been charged with first-degree murder.
Reports stated the motive behind the fatal shooting remained under investigation.
Authorities found Wilson at his home on 10th Avenue North and took him into custody without incident Saturday morning
According to reports, Wilson had previous convictions for domestic violence and unlawful weapon possession. He was being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
