A baby has passed away after being seriously injured in a crash in Murfreesboro.
The incident was reported around noon Wednesday at the intersection of Blackman Road and Veterans Parkway.
Family members confirmed 8-week-old Deundre Mariel Bridges, Jr. passed away Saturday after being taken off a ventilator.
The family added the father was driving when he crashed into the back of a dump truck. A family member said the car seat was facing forward instead of backward.
