At least one person has died in a crash in Wilson County involving a Purity Dairy Truck
According to the Lebanon Police Department, the incident happened around 11:40 a.m. Monday on Old Murfreesboro Road at Stumpy Lane.
Police said a yellow Nissan Xterra was seen traveling southbound on Murfreesboro Road when it veered into the northbound lane, into oncoming traffic.
A Purity Dairy truck was traveling northbound and tried to avoid the Pathfinder, but hit the vehicle head on.
The driver of the Pathfinder, 40-year-old Stacey Dawn Slate, was dead at the scene.
The the driver and passenger of the truck were examined and released at the scene by medical personnel.
