A suspect search got underway after a gas station clerk was robbed at gunpoint overnight in Davidson County.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. Tuesday at a Mapco on Old Hickory Boulevard near Interstate 40.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said a man walked in wearing a black hoodie with jeans and demanded money.
He also pointed a gun at the clerk's face during the ordeal. No one else was inside at the time.

She wasn't hurt, but was shaken up by the experience.
The suspect was able to get away with cigarettes. The clerk told police he drove away in a white Dodge Avenger.
Police were working to review surveillance video from inside the store.
