Officials with the Kentucky State Police confirmed a husband and wife have died in a murder-suicide in Bowling Green.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Sunday at a home on Wayne Watt Road.
KSP troopers were asked by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office to assist with a domestic call at that location where shots had been fired.
Reports stated additional shots were heard with authorities got to the scene.
Inside the home, officials found 33-year-old Tabitha L. Neighbors in a bedroom dead from a gunshot wound.
In an adjacent bathroom, troopers confirmed they found 38-year-old Joseph A. Neighbors dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Autopsies were set to be completed in Louisville.
Authorities said the investigation remained ongoing.
