Police in Warren County, Kentucky have asked the public’s help for information after a man was fatally shot.
Officers with Bowling Green Police were called to Payne Street shortly before 11 p.m. Monday.
According to investigators, Derek Lewis had knocked on someone’s door and said he’d been shot.
Police followed the blood trail to Fair Street, where the shooting took place.
The 39-year-old victim was airlifted to TriStar Skyline Medical Center where he died.
Authorities said they’re working on locating witnesses and evidence in the case.
No additional details were known.
