An 11-year-old boy has been found guilty of murdering an 8-year-old girl in east Tennessee.
According to Local 8 News, Benny Tiller was found guilty of first degree murder in the death of his neighbor, McKayla Dyer on October 4, 2015.

His grandmother declined an interview with the CBS affiliate, but did apparently say she was working with the public defender to determine their next course of action.
The shooting was reportedly the result of an argument over a puppy.
Investigators found a shotgun and BB pistol at the scene.
