New information has surfaced surrounding two brothers accused of gunning down a man outside a high school.

Jamontae Davis and his younger brother, Kevonte, have both been charged with homicide.

The brothers were attending a basketball game at Whites Creek High School in January when they allegedly shot and killed James Nevils in the parking lot.

Family members said the men had been involved in a dispute over a girl.

During Thursday's preliminary hearing, investigators said Nevils was shot four times in the chest and once in the arm.

Police also reviewed surveillance video from the high school. The video showed the men having a conversation for around 20 or 30 seconds. Those in court said it was difficult to tell from the video which brother fired the shots.

The judge ruled there was enough evidence for the case to move forward.
