Although the Thanksgiving holiday has passed, Monday is expected to be another bustling and busy day at Nashville International Airport.
BNA officials said they expect another 23,000 people to come through Monday, capping off a record-breaking holiday weekend.
Nearly a week ago, travelers packed the airport as they made their way home for Thanksgiving.
Nearly 47-million Americans were expected to travel home this year for the holiday -- about 25-million of those traveled by air.
The recently issued worldwide travel alert did not deter millions from traveling, including the nearly 43,000 passengers who arrived in and departed from Nashville.
The U.S. government issued the worldwide travel alert in wake of the attacks in Paris and response to increased terrorist threats. The alert is in place until February 24.
You can check your flight status on the BNA website before heading out. Also try to arrive inside the terminal at least two hours before your flight.
