A Music City tradition has been going on so long, the pastor at First Baptist Nashville said he can't remember how old it has become.
Sunday night, the church located on Broadway held its Carol-Candlelight Celebration.
A choir of 100 voices and an orchestra led guests in the singing of their favorite Christmas songs.
"With a packed audience, our sanctuary would be full of children and adults who are so excited for the Christmas season, singing ‘Joy to the world, the Lord has come’ and other of our favorite Christmas carols like Silent Night,” said Pastor Tom Crow. “It just gives us chills."
Those at First Baptist Nashville said they’re looking forward to their Christmas Eve services this Thursday.
They have planned to hold two of them, one at 5 p.m. and another at 8 p.m.
