Musicians, customers, and fans came together to celebrate a legendary Nashville music venue.
There was huge celebration along Elliston Place for the "Elliston Place Street Festival."
It was held to mark the 45th anniversary of Exit/In.
The street was shut down, and there was plenty of music and food from area restaurants.
Exit/In opened in 1971 and through the years has hosted musicians and entertainers ranging from Jimmy Buffett to Linda Ronstadt and Billy Crystal.
“It’s good to see the Exit/In. The current owners have continued the tradition. It is a venue for local music acts that are building an audience, and that's what it’s all about,” said Brugh Reynolds, the original owner of Exit/In.
All proceeds from the event have been set to benefit the Nashville Independent Business Alliance, which has been a non-profit that supports local businesses.
