Authorities are investigating after two people were found fatally shot in Chattanooga.
The Chattanooga Police Department tells media outlets in a statement that the incident happened Sunday night.
Police spokesman Kyle Miller says a child called 911 around 10:32 p.m. to report that his mother and father had been shot.
Arriving officers found a male and female who both had been shot. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The child was located safe and unharmed.
Investigators are working to determine what happened. No suspect information is available at this time.
