A prayer service was held in Montgomery County outside the Clarksville Police Department.
Friday, community members joined hands and prayed after the events of this week.
Many said they were praying for their sons, daughters, friends, and family. They said it was a vigil for unity.
Similar prayer vigils have been held across Middle Tennessee and nationwide.
