Law enforcement officers around the state have been cracking down on people not wearing seatbelts.
The efforts have been part of the Click It or Ticket program.
Tennessee's seatbelt use rate was listed at 86 percent classifying Tennessee as a "low use" state on a national level.
According to the Department of Safety and Homeland Security, 343 people killed in traffic crashes in 2015 were not wearing a seatbelt.
