Community Hopeful In Search For Missing Boy

Posted

Nearly one week after 2-year-old Noah Chamberlain was reported missing, about 200 community members gathered at a local high school gym to pray for his safe return.

Brad Patterson, minister at First Baptist Church in Henderson, tells local media Wednesday's prayer vigil was called to lift up a family in need after Noah was reported missing on Jan. 14.

Police have said Noah was walking with his grandmother and 4-year-old sister in the woods behind his grandparents' home when his grandmother lost sight of him. Law enforcement and volunteers have been searching constantly since Noah was reported missing.

Pastor Andy Morris of The Highlands Church in Chester County told those gathered at the vigil, "don't speculate, just pray." He says the community is "very hopeful, still very faithful," and that they believe the boy will be found.
