A convicted sex offender has been placed behind bars in Hendersonville.
Police captured Kevin Yant and charged him with violation of the sex offender registry laws.
He was being held on a $25,000 bond.
Reports stated Yant has been scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. on March 20.
