A fatal crash involving an overturned vehicle closed a portion of Interstate 840.
The wreck happened in the westbound lanes near Exit 37 for Arno Road around 5:15 p.m. Friday.
Investigators with the Highway Patrol said a blown tire caused the driver to lose control and roll into the median, landing in incoming traffic.
Rodger Orris, 64, was killed in the crash. Another vehicle was hit by flying debris, but no one else was hurt.
Initially, the roadway was closed in that area to westbound drivers with alternate routes in place, and eastbound drivers experienced rubbernecking delays.
The road was reopened around 8 p.m.
