A driver has passed away following a crash on Interstate 65.
Authorities said a passerby noticed a car off the road on Interstate 65 South just one mile north of Old Hickory Boulevard around 4:22 a.m. Sunday.
Reports stated the driver had been ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he later died.
The interstate was closed for a while Sunday morning while crews worked at the scene.
