A Chattanooga woman has died, while two children were hurt in a crash along Interstate 65 North in Nashville.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said 24-year-old Ashley Parker was killed in the crash.
The collision was reported shortly before 5:30 a.m. Monday at Wedgewood Avenue.

Multiple responders were called to the scene.
Officials on the scene said a car left the roadway about 500 feet before it struck a pole on the side of the road.
Parker was pronounced dead at the scene. Family was en route to Nashville to care for Parker’s two young children who were not seriously injured in the crash.
The crash caused delays and blocked the interstate for hours while officials worked to clear the scene. The roadway finally reopened around 10:30 a.m.
