A man was killed Monday morning when a car collided with his motorcycle in Antioch.
The incident was reported around 5:30 a.m. near the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and Hobson Pike.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the driver of a Chevrolet Cobalt was turning onto Hobson Pike from Murfreesboro Road when he collided with a motorcycle.
The motorcycle, which was traveling inbound, crashed into the passenger side of the car.
The victim, whom officers said was a man in his late-20s or early-30s, died at the scene. His name was not released.
Police said although the other driver failed to yield, he wasn't facing charges at this time. The man claimed he didn't see the motorcycle.

The collision caused a significant delay for commuters. Drivers were asked to avoid the area, if possible.
