A broken water main has forced the closure of the Bordeaux Branch of the Nashville Public Library.
The water main break happened early Tuesday morning in the 4100 block of Clarksville Pike near a Kroger and Dollar General. It’s not known if the cause was weather-related.
As of now, the road remains open while crews work to fix the line. A backhoe was seen being brought in to assist.
However, the broken line has forced the closure of the Bordeaux library. It's not known how long it will be closed.
Icing has also occurred on the road as water continues gushing from the main. Drivers should use extreme caution in the area.
Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing throughout the day.
