Posted

Authorities confirmed a dangerous suspect in Montgomery County has been arrested.

According to reports, Zaccariah Bradford Pride was taken into custody around 2 a.m. Saturday.

Officials said they found him hiding under a tree near the intersection of Highway 49 and Cedar Valley Road in Houston County.

Authorities said nearly two dozen law enforcement officers from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Police Department, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol worked throughout the night to make the arrest.

Pride has been wanted in Montgomery County on three counts of aggravated assault and one count of reckless endangerment.

The charges stemmed from a traffic accident where he fled the scene after waving a weapon at several bystanders.

“This apprehension is the result of good coordination and teamwork from four law enforcement agencies. This is a good example of how law enforcement work together collectively to keep their respective citizens safe,” said Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson.

Reports confirmed Pride was being held in the Houston County Jail.
