A death investigation got underway in south Nashville after a woman’s body was found in a parking lot. After an investigation, her death was ruled a suicide.
A man made the discovery around 6 a.m. Tuesday when he arrived at Sign Craft, located behind the Bikini Beach bikers bar, on Antioch Pike.
She was found with a gunshot wound to the chest. A gun was located near her body.
The incident was initially investigated as self-inflicted, but police were working to determine exactly what happened.
Investigators then later confirmed her death was a suicide.
