A Dickson County man has been placed behind bars and charged with killing a man from Burns.
Reports stated 31-year-old Gilberto Alicea Ortiz has been charged with one count of criminal homicide.
Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation caught up with him in Miami, Florida where he was arrested. He was being held in Florida without bond as a fugitive from justice.
Special agents said they believe Ortiz killed 29-year-old Yamael Rivera Vializ on Saturday afternoon.
He was found dead at a home in the 3100 block of Church Street in Burns.
A hearing has been scheduled for Ortiz on Monday. Further details were not immediately available.
