The national discussion about policing and racial profiling took center stage at an event in Nashville.
The ACLU hosted a discussion at the main branch of the Nashville Library on Saturday.
Deputy legal director Jeff Robinson led the discussion on race and policing.
The event, called "Broken Policing - Windows for Change,” looked at the realities of race and policing across the country and how to improve community and police relations.
This was all part of the ACLU Tennessee's new "Police Accountability Campaign,” which will work to improve relationships between police and civilians.
