Dollar General Armed Robber's Identity Sought

Police in Clarksville have asked for the public’s help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery.

Authorities said the incident happened between 8:23 p.m. and 8:27 p.m. Tuesday at the Dollar General in the 100 block of Edmondson Ferry Road.

According to reports, the suspect went into the store wearing all black clothes and a dark blue bandana covering his face.

That’s when authorities said the man demanded money from the safe. Officials said he pointed a black handgun at an employee.

The suspect then fled from the scene, possibly in a 2000 model silver four-door vehicle. He went in an unknown direction.

The incident was captured on security cameras.
