People in Donelson and Hermitage have gotten into the Christmas spirit after the area's annual parade.
People braved the rain to see the 32nd annual parade down Donelson Pike.
There were plenty of decorated floats, and Santa also made an appearance.
Long time residents said it’s a holiday tradition for the community.
“Being with the weather and the way things are, seeing all the people, the experience is awesome,” said Lee Vickers. “It’s nice to see all the people out. If you haven't experienced the parade, you need to come out and experience it one year.”
The parade was initially canceled this year due to permit issues with a route change.
After a lot of people spoke out, city officials came together to make sure the parade could go on.
