Downed trees and live wires closed a portion of Murfreesboro Road in Franklin.
Officials said early Sunday afternoon that the road was closed between South Margin Street and Eddy Lane due to the downed trees and wires.
Authorities had warned there was no travel from downtown to Interstate 65 via Murfreesboro Road at that time.
The roadway reopened around 4:15 p.m.
Old Liberty was also closed between Daniels Drive and Jamison Station due to downed trees and live wires.
Details had not been released on when Old Liberty would reopen. Avoid that areas and find an alternate route.
