Dramatic new video has been released of the moment a Blue Angels pilot crashed into the ground.
Captain Jeff Kuss was killed in the wreck that happened during a practice flight for the Great Tennessee Air Show.
The video was posted on Youtube. The camera followed the jet on the left, but the one on the right starts to nosedive.
The camera pans backward showing four jets then a plume of thick, black smoke.
The Navy has been investigating what exactly went wrong during that practice run.
Captain Kuss will be laid to rest Saturday in his hometown of Durango, Colorado.
A public procession has been planned through the town before a private ceremony.
