Driver Hits Pole, Knocks Out Power In West Nashville

Posted

Thousands were without power in west Nashville after a car crashed into a pole.

The incident happened around 5 a.m. Tuesday on Charlotte Pike near Marcia Avenue.

It’s unclear what caused the car to crash.

Crews on the scene said it could be as late as noon before they fix the pole.

At one point, more than 3,500 people were without power in the area. However, that number has dropped significantly.

The driver was not hurt.
