A driver was seriously injured in a crash in Clarksville.
The single-vehicle wreck happened just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday near Old Russellville Pike and Cheshire Road.
Reports stated the driver’s injuries appeared to be life-threatening. The vehicle he was driving crashed into a pole.
Authorities said it was believed he was the only person in the vehicle. His identity had not been released.
Officials with the Clarksville Police Department said the traffic in that area was slow moving while they investigated at the scene. Drivers were asked to avoid that area.
The investigation into the crash remained ongoing.
