One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Wilson County.
The wreck happened after 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Statesville Road in Watertown.
Reports stated a Toyota Tacoma left the road on a curve when the driver lost control. The truck then flipped and came to rest on its side in a ditch.
Two people were inside the truck, and authorities confirmed the driver, identified as 19-year-old Michael W. Sexton of Watertown, passed away.
The second victim, identified only as a 17-year-old from Watertown, was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash. Authorities confirmed the two were not wearing seatbelts.
The roadway was blocked in that area early Sunday morning as crews worked at the scene.
